Cheshire coach, Callum Atkinson of Hoole Tennis Club, has been working with Cheshire Buddies - cheshirebuddies.co.uk , a charity that provides a range of after school activities for those children and young adults with a range of learning difficulties.
The sessions are so popular that Stephanie from Cheshire Buddies asked if they could have a sensory kit bag to use themselves alongside other sports equipment they use .
Cheshire Tennis in Partnership with LTA Open Court went one step further and funded both training and specialist sensory tennis equipment for them and their workforce to get started!
The training was carried out by Sue Morrison of LUSU Sports at Sandbach Park yesterday and at the end of the session, Jayne Huxley-Grantham (Cheshire Tennis EDI and LTA Open Court Lead ) presented the team with a LUSU kit bag.
