You may have seen that the nominations for the LTA Tennis Awards, presented by Lexus, are now OPEN! Over the past nine years, the awards have illustrated the depth of service and talent within our tennis community in Cheshire and served as an inspiration to others to volunteer, coach, officiate or to play tennis.
In fact, last year, our Cheshire winners went on to win two National Awards, with Tom Brown, National Official of the Year, and Nicola Smith, National Development Coach of the Year, which just proves the amazing talent we have here.
All of the award categories are found in the link below along with awards criteria and tips on writing a good nomination. It doesn’t take too long to complete the form and you can save and go back to it if you’re busy.
All county winners will progress to the Shortlisting panels - some will be selected as National Finalists and others for Excellence Awards so every nomination you make could result in a National Finalist.
*Please note - even though it says on the website that nominations close on 30th November, the Cheshire closing date is 16th November.
**PLEASE can you spend a few minutes of your time to nominate someone who has made a difference to your tennis. It costs nothing but your time and means the world to receive some recognition.
